You have been asked to complete an independent project that will consolidate the theory learnt in the classroom. This is a project designed to form part of your revision, but it should also be of interest to you. Please follow the instructions below...and enjoy!
You first need to decide how you would like to present your project. It could be a booklet on word or publisher, or you may choose to do a PowerPoint. This is completely individual, as long as all the required information is included. It is designed to be a working document, so will be added to with new content as and when. Follow the instructions below to get started.

GET STARTED....Your first task is to choose an athlete of your choice. It is really important that you have an interest in them and their sport as they will form the backbone of your project! First things first - you need to research their background (all the usual name, age, club etc), but also start to look into when they got into their sport, what influenced them (think about Topic 1.1.1) and anything else you think may be relevant. Enjoy!!
NEXT.... Now you have researched the background of your performer, comment on the level at which they are performing/competing at. (Think about the Sports Participation Pyramid - Topic 1.1.2). What have they done to get there, what opportunities have been available to them etc...
